COLLEGE CHRISTMAS SHOW
This is the second Christmas show we helped run in our 2nd year of college, this was the first evening show we ever ran. It went smoothly and the sound was great, it also wasn't too difficult as it was an acoustic set. We really enjoyed doing this gig and the performers loved the sound quality.
COLLEGE YEAR 1 FINAL SHOW
This is us (Mae & Abbie) helping to set up our 3rd show in Year 1, this was our final show and it was marked, we both got a distinction in this assignment. This show we had all sorts of bands to work with and thankfully got the sound good (even with annoying guitarists).

The Event Makers
MAE COLLINS
Live Sound Engineer, Producer, DJ
OUR ROLES
Mae’s roles: Mae is the Live Sound Engineer, Stage Manager and a DJ. Having done Live Sound since year 1 in college up to the end of year 2, she has a lot of knowledge of analog desks and digital desks. Our class did 3 shows in year 1 where each student got to practice live sound. Mae has done 2 shows with 1 practice run show in year 2 and was in charge of the sound in all 3. Abbie’s Roles: Abbie is the Event/Project Manager, making sure everything runs smoothly and nothing goes wrong. She ensures all the plans for the shows are correct, she deals with them well if something is wrong on the plans. On the days of the shows she has always made sure everyone has everything and makes sure everyone is ready. If someone’s not doing their job right she’ll stop them and tell them what to do, basically she’s on the ball with everything.
